Refund policy

In brief

• For purchases made in this online shop, you may withdraw from the contract, that is, cancel the purchase, within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason.
• The 14 days are counted from the day on which you, or a person indicated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods. If the order arrives in more than one parcel, they are counted from the day on which the last parcel arrives.
• If the fourteenth day falls on a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, the deadline is moved to the end of the first working day that follows.
• To withdraw, all you need to do is inform us within the deadline: online, using the withdrawal form (the ‘Withdraw from contract here’ link is at the bottom of every page), or by email or by post, for which you may also use the model form set out at the bottom of this page (using it is not obligatory).
• After you have informed us, the goods must be sent back or brought back to our shop in Trevi within 14 days. The direct costs of returning the goods are borne by you.
• We refund everything you have paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of your communication, using the same payment method you used for the purchase. We may wait until we have received the goods, or proof that they have been sent back, before making the refund.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure or personalised to your specifications, such as made-to-measure curtains. When a product falls within this exclusion, we state this on its product page before purchase.
• A return is the sending back of the goods that follows a withdrawal. A product that is defective, does not match its description or is different from the one ordered is a different matter: the legal guarantee of at least two years applies, as explained further below, and in that case repair, replacement and delivery costs are borne by us.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. If you have ordered multiple goods in one order and receive them separately, the withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Crilù Tessuti s.a.s. di Baratti e C., Via S. Egidio 70/A, 06032 Borgo Trevi, Trevi (PG), Italy; telephone +39 0742 381852; email shopcrilutessuti@gmail.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form set out below, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at shop.crilutessuti.it/pages/eu-modulo-recesso, including via the ‘Withdraw from contract here’ link at the bottom of every page of the shop. If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the Crilù Tessuti shop, Piazza della Concordia 9, 06039 Trevi (PG), Italy, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Goods excluded from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (Article 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005). When a product in our shop falls within this exclusion, we state this on its product page before purchase.

Defective or non-conforming products: the legal guarantee
